The second seminar within 5G and Beyond 5G Seminar Series will be presented by Dr Stefano Cioni from European Space Agency and the seminar title is A Tutorial on 5G Non-Terrestrial Networks.

1ST INCOMING Project School

Date: November 2020.

The first project school of H2020 INCOMING project is scheduled for four consecutive Thursdays in November and the first Friday in December, spanning the interval from 05th to November to 04th of December, 2020. During these five days, researcher training will be provided by representative staff members from German Aerospace Centre (DLR) – 05th of November, University of Novi Sad (UNS) – 12th of November, Chalmers University of Technology (CHALMERS) – 19th of November, Aalborg University (AAU) – 26th of November, and two Guest Lecturers: Prof. Michele Zorzi (University of Padova, Italy) and Prof. Osvaldo Simeone (King’s College London, UK) – 04th of December. Besides theoretical lectures, the training will include practical hands-on sessions, that will raise the skills and expertise of ICONIC researchers and will be provided by PhD students to PhD students from each involved institution.

INCOMING 1st Expert Training by DLR

Date: 28th – 30th October 2020.

The first expert training of H2020 INCOMING projekt is scheduled for Wednesday to Friday, 28th to 30th of October, 2020. The training, entitled Advanced Random Access for Machine-Type Communications, will be presented by Dr Andrea Munari and Dr Federico Clazzer from German Aerospace Centre (DLR). Besides theoretical lectures, the training will include practical problem solving sessions, that will raise the skills and expertise of ICONIC researchers (in particular, members of the Communication Systems group) in the domain of massive IoT communications.

1st INCOMING Brainstorming Week

Dates: 21-24th of January 2020.
Place: Novi Sad, Central University Building

The first INCOMING project Brainstorming week took place between 21/01/2020 and 24/01/2020. During intensive 4-day event, researchers of partner institutions presented a large number of research work presentations and tutorial lectures. The project advisory board member, Prof. Branka Vucetic (The University of Sydney) presented a keynote lecture on 5G IoT communications on 21/01/2020. The event gathered more than 30 ICONIC researchers and 8 researchers from partner institutions.

H2020 INCOMING Kick-Off Meeting

Date: 20th of January 2020.
Place: Novi Sad, Central University Building

Kick-off meeting of INCOMING project took place on 20/01/2020 at the Central University Building in the campus of University of Novi Sad. The meeting gathered about 30 ICONIC researchers and 8 researchers from partner institutions. During the meeting, the project work plan is carefully reviewed as well as all the presentations and guidelines about H2020 Twinning projects presented at Twinning Coordinators Day that took place on 14/11/2020 in Brussels.
